on my journey to lands I have dreamed of visiting, and lands I have never imagined visiting. At the end of each post are my observations of the culture, the politics, and the people - commentary encouraged!
A grateful thank you to my mother and my aunt, who made it all possible! Thanks also to staff of Seabourn Encore, who made it fun, and ridiculously and elegantly over the top.
on a journey to find favorite places locally, and around the world. I created this blog after an amazing cruise to the Middle East and other Holy Lands, traveling from nine ports of call through six countries in three weeks. I wanted to capture what I learned, and to share with those family and friends interested in adventures of travel, culture, religion, geography, and politics. Comments encouraged!
Endless gratitude to my adventurous mother and aunt, who make so much possible! Thanks to the staff of Seabourn Encore, who made our cruise fun, safe, and ridiculously and elegantly over the top. Also to husband Paul for encouraging this trip of a lifetime, and for loving Paris as much as I do.
Hope you are planning an adventure soon!
